FoW Common Terms, Abbreviations and Vocabulary
The differences between a Moderator (Mod) and an Administrator (Admin) is the most common mistake that is made when people are posting in the forums.
The main difference between an admin and a mod: Admins GET PAID! Mods DO NOT GET PAID. Administrators are Uken staff. Moderators are volunteer players.
A Moderator is selected by Uken and the FoW community to watch over the game. They have limited abilities that normal players do not have. They are able to close, lock or move threads on the forums, as well as mute players (for 24 hours) who are unruly.
An Administrator is someone who works for Uken; they are the people who read and reply to any emails you may send. An Administrator is the person you should be attempting to contact if or when you are suspicious of another player cheating, hacking etc. They are also the people you should contact if you were reset or banned, and you feel like it was undeserving. You should not post on the forums to contact admins; instead, you should e-mail Uken at [email protected].
